Spiritual Principles & Physiology of Weight Loss is an interactive class that explores the steps that need to be taken to finally stop eating compulsively. The class is a combination of the 12-step program and Ananda tools of meditation and energization that together create a powerful surrender to the habit of a healthy life style and healthy eating.

In this class, Al will teach you:

.  How to change from the inside out using the 12 steps and other tools of Overeaters/Compulsive Eaters Anonymous

.  The power of prayer, daily meditation and supportive community in weight loss efforts

.  What to eat and when: How protein, fat, carbs and sugar work in the body

Al Mahesh has been a member of OA/CEA for the past 6 years and has lost and kept off 50 lbs. since 2011. He has been meditating for 25 years and uses the tools of the program in combination with the daily practice of energization and meditation to live a “lighter” life.


Nancy Corsaro is a licensed acupuncturist and herbologist and a weight loss coach. During her 12 years of practice, so many patients requested help with their weight loss efforts that she expanded her practice to health coaching with weight loss as a specialty. Nancy has worked with many patients and clients in their quest to lose weight, feel better, and improve their health.
