Yoga for Kids, Toddlers, Moms, and Babies

Come join us for a whole new definition of yoga!

Toddler Yoga:  Bring your toddler to introduce them to the fun and benefits of yoga early on. In this creative class they will enjoy yoga play with other toddlers, interacting with mom while she models different poses and so much more!

Wednesdays 
All toddler classes 11 am – 11:45 am
$20 per session / $10 per class for drop-in

Session 1: Aug 29, Sept 5, 12, 19 (no class Sept 26)
Session 2: Oct 3, 10, 17, 24
Session 3: Oct 31, Nov 7, 14, 28 (no class Nov 21)

Postnatal Moms and Babies Yoga: Come join us for Postnatal Moms and Babies. It’s a chance for mom to start to tone her body through yoga specifically targeted for strengthening the core and to de-stress from the challenges of motherhood. You’ll also enjoy the camaraderie of other moms and the joy of doing yoga with baby. Bring your mat and any baby accoutrements for a fun-filled, relaxing hour!

Wednesdays 
All postnatal classes 10 am – 11 am
$20 per session / $10 per class for drop-in

Maitri Smithhisler, E-RYT 500, has been teaching prenatal yoga for over 16 years around the Metroplex, postnatal yoga at Medical Center of Plano since 2006, and toddler yoga since 2014. She loves working with moms and kiddos, and has been facilitating the Ananda Dallas Kid’s Yoga camp for the past 4 years.

Fertility Yoga with Jessica Ladd Lefterova, RYT 500
Thursdays, 7 – 9 pm
$120 for 4 classes

Fertility Yoga class taught by a certified fertility and pregnancy yoga instructor focuses on relaxing the brain and body in hopes to prepare for conception by:

*Activate relaxation responses in the mind/body by activating the parasympathetic nervous system through breathing and meditative postures

*Practice postures to increase blood flow to the reproductive area and release muscle tension.

*Safe for all assisted reproductive procedures such as IVF.

*Class teaches women strategies to reduce anxiety, depression, and stress through relaxation, mindfulness and yoga which they can practice at home everyday.

This class is a safe and supportive environment shared with others going through the same journey.

Jessica Ladd Lefterova, is a 500Hr Certified Yoga Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor. She specializes and is trained in Fertility, Pregnancy, Postpartum and Trauma/Anxiety. She is also a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and teaches for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas childbirth and parenting education classes as well as yoga and water aerobics. 

She currently has no children and has been trying to conceive for years, which brought her to create the very first fertility yoga class in Dallas. She is very passionate about helping women through all stages of life but has a deep love for the conception, pregnancy and new motherhood roles. She has many years of experience helping women though conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

She stresses the importance of self care, taking care of the body with healthy exercise and nourishing the brain and nervous system in order to be the best version of yourself.
