Join us for an interactive class on how to bring the high-minded principles of yoga into our leadership opportunities.  Whether you are a manager of many, or just wanting to hone your skills in group settings, this class will help.

There are moments in life that require some form of leadership.  It often comes to those who see that a particular state of affairs needs development or improvement and develop an intuitive vision of how to make that happen.  From that perspective, leadership can be required from a parent just as much as from a manager, a sports coach or even a person who wants to take the reins of leadership over his own life improvement process in her/his hands.

Leadership offers opportunities for growth and the realization of one’s highest potential.  From a new perspective offered in this course, learn how to develop:

  • The capacity to relate to and work with people’s realities as they are, and not as one would wish them to be
  • Intuition guided by common sense
  • Self-control in favor of harmony
  • The awareness of how people are more important than things
  • The inclination to work with your own and other people’s strengths
  • An attitude of service and loyalty in your approach to leadership

About Darshan Lotichius

Darshan is a long time friend and active member of our Ananda Dallas family. This year marks his fourth annual visit to Dallas to teach and share inspiration. Jan Lotichius was born in Holland, in 1960. In 1985 he met Swami Kriyananda in Italy who gave him the spiritual name Darshan and since then, as a member of Ananda Sangha, the spiritual movement founded by Kriyananda, and as an active practitioner of the meditation techniques brought to the West by the great Master from India, Paramhansa Yogananda, Darshan has been experimenting with integrated ways of applying spirituality to every field of social life. In 1992 he founded the Ananda Rome center which he co-directed for several years. Darshan has graduated in Italian and French literature at the Amsterdam and Rome universities and in music and violin at the Bari conservatory. He is a creative writer and choir director. In the late eighties he read Kriyananda’s book Education for Life and since then he has tried to integrate this approach to child education in his many actitivities with children, both as a teacher and a father. Darshan is a founding member of the Living Wisdom School Assisi which he co-directed for three years. He has conducted many summer camps at the Ananda Assisi community and is currently expanding his activities to Holland and America.
