About Lorna Knox

Lorna Knox is a minister and lightbearer from the Ananda Portland, Oregon community. She found Ananda and became a disciple of Yogananda in 1981 and has been an active part of the Portland center for 30 years, experiencing their evolution from a small meditation group to an expansive work that includes an urban community, a temple, a school, a rural retreat center, a progressive assisted living ashram and a fledgling rural community. Lorna is the author of two books published by Crystal Clarity and a parent of three children. She has been married for 34 years to a saintly man who is deeply devoted to a Christian spiritual path and she offers a unique perspective on the teachings of Self-Realization that she lives with gratitude and humor and love.
