Families for a New Tomorrow
Sep 10 @ 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Families for a New Tomorrow is a monthly gathering for the whole family supporting conscious parenting with yoga techniques. The goal of the Families for a New Tomorrow  is to provide a venue for wholesome, uplifting family gatherings, based on Education for Life principles. There are currently several groups started across the west coast, and numbers continue to grow!

Learn more about Families for a New Tomorrow and Education for Life here.

We yoga together as a family along with other activities, and then share a vegetarian potluck dinner. The last part of the evening we split up into groups with the parents gathering for discussion while the children engage in other fun activities.

Ananda Dallas normally offers Families for a New Tomorrow  on the third Sunday of each month.

Please contact us to get on our e-mail list of upcoming dates or check back to the website soon!

Maitri Smithhisler helps coordinate and lead the Families for a New Tomorrow gatherings along with our parents and guest teachers.

Kirtan with Darshan
Oct 27 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Kirtan with Darshan @ Ananda Dallas Meditation & Yoga Center | Addison | Texas | United States

Kirtan is devotional chanting – which doesn’t really explain the deep vibrations of joy and the heart – opening stillness that is the experience of kirtan. We sing to God, for God, with God and in God, blending our voices and instruments in harmonies of spirit.

Our friend, and wonderful musician, Darshan, will be with us. He promises to play some of Swami Kriyananda’s music on violin. It will be a special kirtan.

Join us – all are welcome. Children may accompany parents if they are able to sit still during the brief periods of quiet and participate with willingness.

“And joy is sweet, sorrow a dream…
And joy is sweet, sorrow a dream…
When Thy song flows through me, my Lord.
When Thy song flows through me.”
