This interactive 9-week course is Ananda’s most comprehensive study of yoga principles. It is intended for those who want to understand Yoga – and live – more deeply.

Each gathering includes Ananda (hatha) Yoga, Energization Exercises, meditation and a class covering a variety of yoga philosophy topics, led by a team of experienced instructors.

Thurs, Sept 14 – ENERGY/Energization – Mark 
Thurs, Sept 21 – History of Yoga – Supriya
Thurs, Sept 28 – Paths of Yoga – Supriya
Sat, Oct 7, Patanjali’s 8-fold Path – Mike
                Yamas & Niyamas – Nancy
Thurs, Oct 12 – Magnetism – Darshan
Sat, Oct 28 – Anatomy of Yoga (Chakras) – Darshan
Thurs, Nov 2 – Affirmations – Darshan 
Thurs, Nov 9 – Guru – Darshan 
Thurs, Nov 16 – Living a Healthy Lifestyle (Ayurveda) – Michael
potluck with all the teachers

Approx time flow of Thursday class:

6:00 – 6:20pm – EE

6:20 – 7:20pm – hatha

7:20 – 7:45pm – chant, meditation

7:45 – 8:00pm – snack break

8:00 – 9:00pm – philosophy

Classes are scheduled weekly on these dates:

Thursdays:
Sept 14, 21, 28; Oct 12; Nov 2, 9, 16, all  6:00 – 9:00 pm
Saturdays:
Oct 7 &  Oct 28, both 10:30am – 3:00 pm

Cost for entire course:  $225   Early Bird discount $199 if registered by Sept 7
Cost for individual classes:  $25 for Thursdays, $40 for Saturday workshops

This two-class series takes you step-by-step through the practice of meditation using ancient yogic techniques. Learn to sit comfortably with calm attention while using breath awareness to draw the energy inward.

You will be able to practice what you learn at home and return to class and discuss questions, while gradually taking steps to a deep and regular meditation practice that will touch every part of your life.

Inner peace and clarity are only some of the benefits of meditation. But don’t take our word for it – come try for yourself!
